a) there are lots of posts on that topic that are killing the BBS
b) it is actually used

since the turn of the year, there has been less than one post a day in it. which indicates neither.

i haven't got a fucking clue who dry-ice is who insta-locked my attempt to introduce some reggae culture into general, and i think his locking of my thread borders on racism, but jesus. this just comes back to newbs being in fear of making anything because they may be linked to some obscure thread that discussed what they're saying months ago, and getting banned for rehashing shit.

seriously. it sucks. so much blank space. having to scroll down for all the details is awful. autoloading the flash is a bad idea. makes everything misaligned. there's still a ton of space at the sides for those in high (probably becoming standard now actually) resolutions.

as an option it'd be fine. as standard, meh. will cut down the amount of flash i watch massively.

yeah, the other guy was pretty awful, and yeah, my 53 apm is lolbad, but take the piss all you like. i don't know what the fuck was going on with my build order and i don't know why when i got mutas out i told them to kill one of my ovies (well, i did, i tried to group them to it but misclicked), but yeah, if they will shove all their resources into sunkens i can overrun them in the air. woo.

have been messing about practicing with the computer AI. mostly i've been raping it if i decide to cheese rush it, but have been getting the better of it in longer games as well, so have been able to learn some mid and late game micro. still don't feel that confident to beat anyone that actually knows what they're doing in any kind of latish game yet, but it's getting there slowly but surely

first in an occasional series. i've been watching a few vod's of the pros and am trying to get back into playing this. i'm on iccup (sn is notjaedong) and am getting pwned left right and centre. it's all a learning experience though, so i don't really care too much. am playing zerg, generally what happens is:

- if i'm playing vs. zerg, i'll generally get outmicroed and outmacroed
- if i'm playing against terran they'll wall themselves in to prevent an early rush so i can't get a decent scout
- if i'm playing protoss i can usually get a decent early rush in with my standard 9-pool but will generally get owned by corsairs because my macro is too slow to get air defence up
- if i cheese with an early pool it's basically gg

at some point i'll try to link to a replay when i get one that isn't horribly embarrassing
