Not a bad little flash. Shame you had to spoil it by involving pube muppet, but it was well made and pretty funny, nice work.

I have no idea why this game is on the front page. Sound in the preloader is never a good start, but the actual game is pretty poor as well. The collision detection in some places is horrendous, and everything is incredibly slow, to the point in some places that it's unplayable. The sounds aren't great either - there's frequently multiple things playing at once for no good reason. It's not awful but it's overrated, even at 3.10.

I know this is overrated, but I don't mind it being on the FP, at least you write a normal review instead of some people who just give a 0 for all, and go OMG YUO SUXOR.
Believe me, the next part will be a lot better.

Some random things, like Arfenhouse, are funny. Other random things, like this, aren't. Poor in pretty much every respect.

Very faithful to the original level, with tight controls, good visuals and sounds. Everything a Contra fan could want.

Very good fun to play, quick-paced action and lots of enemies to kill. Only small problem was that the turret was a bit slow to move, but it's no biggie. Worth playing.

Yes, you're not the first to mention the slow turret speed. It was kind of deliberate, since the game would be too easy otherwise. I need to get the difficulty more balanced on the next one.

Submission was too short and lacked quality. The voice acting in the credits was poor and mumbled. But the drawings weren't bad, and a few technical sound improvements and longer plot could make for a good movie.
