[Basics of HTML]

Good HTML tutorial

This isn't something I've seen in flash before - should be useful for anyone who's wanting to start out making a basic webpage. It all seems to be correct. You ought to do a sequel showing how to do a few more complicated things, like frames for example.

Fantastic comedy

This is brilliant - it's taking a cheeky swipe at the dumbness of politics and being hilarious, all at the same time. Cool idea, nicely drawn and with a great selection of music. It's long but never dull, a must-see flash movie.

[The Void II]

Great sequel

A fantastic piece of clock-based flash. It all seemed rather Independence Day-esque, which is no bad thing as I like that film. Great graphical effects, and it manages to get some humour in as well. Only bad point was the sounds - the music was great but the voices were often unclear, and there weren't subtitles. It's not a huge problem and doesn't interfere much at all. A fine creation, please bring us the conclusion!

[Newgrounds Museum]

Brings back the memories

Great job with this Pox - sure brought back a lot of memories from the days where Assassin was Newgrounds, when Cat Dynamics was updated and Club a Seal was still popular. Very nice drawings, shame the sound isn't looped that well as those are some nice clips. Also contains a surprising amount of NG information which is pretty useful. One for the older users to enjoy and the newer users to learn from, good stuff!

Yeah, good times. My only regret is to not have visited the BBS sooner. I sure missed on a LOT :(
Now the BBS kinda... sucks. Its been going down the drain since 2002 it seems. oh well.
I know, those sound loops aren't tp notch, but its all that was available at the time. I SWEAR!! they forced me!

Superb music video

Very good stuff - it's a great little song you've got there, and the video is cool. Nice detailed graphics, it's fun to watch. One of the best music videos I've seen on NG, but it was lacking something to get the ten. Maybe needed a bit more violence. Still, it's a funny movie and I like it a lot.

[Zman]

Great for a first go

I liked this - it's cute but sad at the same time. Nice little story, simple graphics but they work with good smooth animation, and the music was great. You ought to try and make a series with this character, I thought it was good. Nice job!

thanx for the review and input and thanx for the reply in the forum, i guess my movie will forever be lost in the portal after now, but who knows. I am planning on making a series w/ this guy but adding other characters and working w/ a good friend of my for artwork, thanx for the help

OK...

You wanted to thank the people at NG. That's fair enough, but it would have been better to do it in an email rather than make a very poor flash movie. At least you didn't put said huge music file on.

[Bud Bonanza EP1: Trailor]

OK trailer

Saw your request for reviews on the BBS - it should be an interesting series and one to watch for, but just make sure that the final movie has a coherent storyline and makes sense. You've got ideas, the visuals look OK and you've chosen some good music (that Manu Chao track is great, even if it doesn't fit in really), just make sure that the end product has a point to it basically.

ya, the end product will be much better, its just i have been workin on it for about a month, and I didnt have anything to show for it. So I submitted a couple clips off the movie for a trailor. Kinda stupid, but I guess tahts what impatience does to you. Thx for the review.

[Skate 1.2]

Short skate movie

This would have been better at a higher framerate, it just seemed so slow! In other areas it's better than other skate movies of this type - it has a bail and some backgrounds. It's too short though.

["Waterman" Ep. II Part I]

Very good cartoon

I don't think this was as good as the first episode, but it had the same cool style of humour and crazy diversions as it, and the conclusion of this episode has been set up nicely. Maybe could have done with clearer sounds, but they're audible most of the time. The second part should be great!
