so i frequent another site that has a heavily trafficked sporting events forum. now obviously this time of year sucks, as baseball doesn't get interesting for another month or so, it's nba offseason, football hasn't started yet, soccer only just has, and who cares about hockey.

question is what do we do when bored? well, we take a concept that we've done for most sorts, namely a huge fantasy draft thing (have done them for NBA, NFL and NHL modern era, as well as a couple of soccer ones), and make them ridiculous.

first we have a "sporting events poster" draft which is basically a huge circlejerk about how good we all are at poasting.

now, just started is a "modern era animal draft", where any animal that's lived since 1978 is eligible to be picked, it's split into five weight classes, you pick two from each and they're involved in 2 on 2 cage matches to the death.
