Great short game
A very good game, one that the 56Kers can enjoy especially. Very tricky, it would be better if your catapult took damage more slowly to make it a little easier, but in any case it's well coded with good graphics and sounds, that "king of the losers!" sound is quality. Excellent.
Not a bad concept
40 questions of varying difficulty, managed half right myself without ever having made a flash movie. Some good questions, goes as far as is really practical. Alright to try once I guess.
Interesting short
Not bad - the idea of pressing the button on the box is a good one and the ending is somewhat comical. Short, but it's alright for a quick laugh.
OK stick tutorial
It's not bad - shows you how to draw a stick and gives a few hints (like on expressions) that I haven't seen before. Shame it doesn't go into more detail and show you how to animate them or something.
well as im sure ive mentioned somewhere befor (i did, didnt i ?), thats gonna be in one of the following Dr.MaD episodes - animating sticks..... there will also be other styles of sticks, how to make stick skating movies, making REAL skating movies (im workin on one of these at the moment) and many other tutorials :)
Meh, barely passable
It's not terrible but it's not very good either, and the score is about right. It's not got enough challenge or interesting moments to be worth playing for very long. The absence of sound is a huge minus, and the graphics are OK but not great. The crash animation isn't bad. A good start, with work it could be better.
OK puzzling action
It's good if you like that sort of thing - it's not my favourite sort of game, but it looks OK and has some nice sounds, and will appeal to a fair few people. It's handy that there's three different puzzles to choose from as well, adds to the longevity of the game.
Good for a point and click shooter
Not bad - no point to it but it's fun and has some good features - I like the way that you can shoot each bottle in different places and take out gradually more of it. Great for a couple of minutes fun but the code would have been better if implemented into a full game.
Cool short game
Fun to play - nice concept, fairly original. Maybe a bit slow - the boat doesn't move quickly enough to allow you to catch everything, but it's still a good game and somewhat underrated. Nice sound effects and graphics.
Funny short
Not a fan of SwearBear but I thought this was funny if predictable. Nice music, great submission for the filesize. Maybe could have been a little longer. Above average overall.
Nice Breakout clone
Don't think I've seen Breakout that often before on NG - this is OK, but I don't like the way that the ball randomly changes angles and catches you out sometimes, and that you can't change the angle of the ball using the bat, and that as it's controlled by the mouse there isn't any balls you can't reach. Not bad for a quick couple of plays - you might want to add some Arkanoid-style power ups and make it so the entire level doesn't reset if you die.
