Cracking little game

This is surprisingly good fun - it's like Defend Your Castle in so many ways but it's in no way a ripoff of it. Many different enemies to fight and tools at your disposal, and it is surprisingly addictive. I only give it 8 as there's no sounds and the graphics are on the basic side, but it's one of the best games I've played in a while. Possibly deserving of the front page even!

One of the best things on NG

This is just great, superb in all departments. A long, in depth, piece of flash that kicks ass from the word go until the finish. Loads of different options, bags of violence, well worth watching. Shame it's just part one really. Has to be played more than once to see everything, this is truly crammed full of loads of great stuff. Only complaint is the graphics - not really my style although they are good and work well, and some of the sounds seemed unrealistic. But those are only minor blemishes on a great flash.

OK... it's different

It's different I guess - I'm not sure why anyone would want to play a simulation of the lottery (or play the lottery IRL for that matter), but it looks to be a decent bit of coding, it all seems to work OK and looks nice. It would have been better as a bonus game of a larger flash or something like that. On it's own it's a bit dull.

Not bad at all

What is effectively a combination between a soundboard and a one click killfest works quite well. As has already been stated, it could have used more options, especially with the killing methods, but it's fun to play with and it all looks and sounds nice.

Basic but not bad

There's no real challenge to it - it's just a case of trying to beat your best time. But it's fun for a few goes, and it all seems to work correctly. Not bad for a first proper AS movie.

Thanks for sparing the time to review this. It was my first and probably last attempt at scripting. I thought i would give you one of the responses you like so much to add to your 1600 or so reviews so far :)

Fine shooter

Preloader seemed to be broken, but once you got in it's not bad at all. Could have used some kind of brakes, but it's a fun shooter which with two players can be fun. Took a while to work out that that's a Mario brothers remix in the background... pretty cool.

Didn't have a point

Didn't understand what the real point of that was. Clearly you have to try and shoot the things, but there's no way to lose and it just doesn't seem to work. It's not fun and has little point to it, no objective. Poor stuff.

gltovar responds:

of course not! its my first game = P of course i could have submitted hello world...

Better than the first, definitely

A marked improvement on the first one - helped by the addition of new enemies (that boss is annoyingly hard), new weapons and a higher difficulty level. The sound loop was better as well, nowhere near as annoying as the first. Could have done with health upgrades, but in any case this is a pretty good shooter.

Goatchrist responds:

Thank you jointhomson :) I put a lot of work into that

Good simple game

Fun to play - the simple ideas are always the best. Nice simple graphics, cool soundtrack straight out of Donkey Kong Country, and it's not too easy. I don't get why after a while the number of bananas available increases, that just makes it easier. Collision detection wasn't great, but overall it's great for a quick play.

Oh dear

Make your own games. ANYBODY can get the basic Tetris .fla file and add a couple of things to the background.
