Sadly my HD is now pretty much full so I can't rip half of these without buying a new one, in two minds whether to go internal or external at the moment.

Comments

Personally, I'm finding I want to go external with my music sources. The portability and relatively larger size of external hard drives is a huge draw. Especially here at school, I can just USB up to someone's computer and within 5 minutes have their whole library drained dry.

Not to mention HDs are used less when they're external. The lack of daily wear and tear may translate to lessened chance of a catastrophic failure, whereby you lose all your data.

That's just me though.

I've ordered external now anyway, got 500gb for £60 (c. $115), internal didn't offer much of a saving at all oddly enough.
