[SG New Year with Emilio!]

Funny new year shenanigans

Not the best flash of yours, and it's not as good as the regular Strategy Guide episodes, but it's still pretty funny. Short, sharp humour, looks pretty decent although not as good as some of your other stuff. Audio didn't sound bad at all. I prefer the video game based episodes myself, but this can be appreciated by all. Nice seasonal bonus.

Thanks! I've been considering doing some shorts like this to fill in time in between the main episodes. I have a lot of interesting characters to introduce as well, so episodes like these give me the opportunity to fool around a bit.

As an experiment, I'd say the New Year's short went pretty well! Although it'll be a long time before anyone gets me to sing again. :)

Average sprite stuff

Not bad - liked the sound loops but they were badly set up, leaving a few awkward moments where there's no sound at all. Not a hugely interesting movie, but enough to have deserved protection. The concept is OK and could have been used a lot better.

Looks OK but a bit short

It doesn't look too bad but you could have done better by increasing the framerate - the animation looks rather choppy in places. OK, but a bit short and the sound clip at the end wasn't really needed.

with a faster framerate it just looks like in fast forward, no good. and i like the soundclip even though its not needed.

Mediocre

The only good thing about this is the ending, even then it's so predictable that it's not very funny. Not great in any department, if you like cheap anvil jokes you'll love it. Could have been a lot worse, but also could have been better really.

Promising preview

OK - this is looking like it could be a good movie, just make sure it doesn't just turn into a clock version of Stick Figure Penalty, have some humour in there somewhere. Ensure that the selection of deaths shown make it into the full movie, and try to sort out the disparity between the subtitles and voices, they're horribly out of sync. One to watch out for.

The thing with the syncing is that there happens to be a problem with my movie and 56k users. When I made the movie it was perfect but I went to upload it one day and found the same thing. I dont know whats wrong but I tested my preloader and it works fine. So sorry for the inconveniance.

Nice short

Pretty good - it's short, but it's still worth watching and enjoyable. A crazy take on an old tale as you say, looks nice with some good animation and a fine soundtrack in the background. For 200k you can't argue with this at all.

One of your better submissions

This is definitely one of your better submissions - drawing was good, nice sound selection and some excellent violence. A bit short but there's not much more that could have been added to it. Another good submission from you.

[Sticky Deaths!]

OK stick deaths

Some decent stick deaths there, a few of which had some originality in them. The first couple and last couple were the best ones, the deaths in the middle were quite dull and random. Very hit and miss - you could improve the graphics a bit as well.

Thanks for the review, ill improve on that. As for the random ones, I figured some people would hate all the reading and just wanted to watch them die. As for the others (you) they like the little story to support it. Thats fine as well.

Overrated in my opinion

I don't see wht this is rated so highly - apart from the fairly good graphics and animation, and occasional funny moments (the "I've been waiting ages to drive you" bit was great), it's pretty dull and doesn't make a huge amount of sense. You need to add voices in, the use of subtitles adds to the feeling that there's nothing going on for the most part. At least put in a few more sounds. Not great.

Yeah, it's like Lord of the Rings in a way. And I tried finding more sounds, but the footsteps inside the house sounded like stepping on dead leaves, so I was left with no options.

As a Foamy fan, I couldn't care less about IWP selling Foamy merchandise. But whatever I might think, this is still a great flash. Best bit was the dynamite sequence at the end, and the final shot with all those Foamies could seriously trip someone out! Some "interesting" products advertised here, this is a superb general parody.
