Fucking amazing

Plays fantastically, so many ridiculous references to everything NES related, quite a lot of it is fairly tricky, superviolent - this may well be the perfect game that Newgrounds has been looking for. Pretty much flawless.

Dreadful

can't crash into the walls. unoriginal. something that shouldn't be more than 100kb weighs in at 3mb, seemingly purely because you've shoved poor irrelevant music in. looks horrible. not worth playing in the slightest, because you played a better version on your phone 10 years ago.

Ahh... The "Solid Boundaries of Death". This is what made me to hate the original version of the game.
Because, you know, it`s just pointless to be able to crush yourself in an "invisible wall". And from "looks horrible" I understand, that you just looked at it and wrote a review, without even playing it. I complety ignore jerkish reviews like that one.

complete waste of space

pong's nearly 40 years old. while this might have been new and exciting in the early 70's, this is 2011, and it isn't. there's literally dozens of similar games on the portal like this that have been there for a decade, this adds nothing to anything. it works, but that's about the only redeeming feature. come up with something new next time.

Why submit this?

Really don't see the point in submitting tests to the portal. Your sounds work, the actual shooting mechanism works, but you can find that out yourself. As is, it's a pointless, not particularly good looking generic fps engine with nothing to actually do. Avoid playing this.

i don't care, its a beta.

Somewhat underrated this

See title. Think it should be a lot nearer 4 than 3.5. The controls aren't as bad as other people make out. It's not too original, a similar game was packaged with my ipod, and arkanoid/breakout as a whole is ancient, but it's playable, mainly because it looks nice and has a real good, almost Metroidy soundtrack. The boost feature makes things too overpowered in the players' favour though.

Solid pool recreation

Quite like this game, plays accurately enough (could do with being able to get a lot more screw though), soundtrack is nice for a while and effects are good. Straight pool tourney seems broken though (opponent starts thinking for first shot and never ends) which kind of knackers up the whole ranking system.

Winning

nice, this is nice. awesome retro tiger blood fuelled rampage. winning.

Horrible lack of originality

Why to people feel the need to recreate things? Wow, it's a lunar lander clone, how exciting. It's got an old 8-bit feel to it graphically, but it doesn't control particularly well and seems a touch buggy, with some random deaths. At least throw in some sort of new and interesting feature to it.
