Fine side scrolling shooting action

Nice job, a cool arcade-style old school shooter which is a lot of fun to play. Non stop action, nice graphical style and awesome explosions. Fairly tough as well, I got up to the third big boss but was pretty much dead by then. Just a couple of drawbacks - you might want to incorporate a key change function - sometimes it's not possible to move diagonally and shoot at the same time, particularly up and left, and the lack of power-ups or a continue function is a glaring omission. Other than that, it's well worth a look.

This is a fun game to play - a very good side scrolling shooter much in the style of Gradius or R-Type, with plenty of weapons and frantic action. I just found myself a bit underwhelmed - changing the default controls is a must, the music isn't brilliant and the graphics are alright but mainly functional. The levels also seemed strange - the first for example sees you under fairly heavy assault, but the boss is a walk in the park who couldn't put a finger on me. It's decent, but it's not the best game I've played on NG.

Way too much fun

This is far, far too much fun - got up to about 16 million after a few goes. Fast, frantic platform action, somewhat Sonic-esque, cracking soundtrack, another winner. Great stuff!

OK Pong variant

Not a bad game, surprisingly addictive. Trouble is it's too easy, even on the hard level - just use the extreme edge of the bat and the computer will lose. Not bad for a quick laugh, 2 player would have been nice. The extra dimension makes things interesting at times.

Excellent! Dealer remake!

I'm loving this. The original was great, and this improves on it by adding better visuals and the game seems harder as well. Good to see this, it would have been perfect with a few more options, but I can't complain. An extremely welcome remake of a classic.

Good remake

Looks a lot better than the original, and the added features improve the game. Plays somewhat like Carious Welting, good fun although a pause feature would be very helpful.

Useful

Not a bad idea - this sort of thing has been done before, but this brings everything together in one place nicely. That music is annoying, what's more annoying is if you mute it, go and look at a section then return to the main menu, it starts again! Something new users can learn from, but seasoned NG veterans won't have a great deal of use for this.

Dull

The questions weren't that interesting and the music was pretty annoying. Anyone who's been around NG for more than a couple of days will get all of these first time. Boring, with no replay value. Looks poor as well.

Pong taken to a new level

Excellent - Pong has been boring for a while now but this flash makes it interesting again. With two players this could be very addictive, nice selection of weapons and power-ups, extremely playable with functional graphics and nice sounds.

[BLAM! MiniGame]

Interesting concept

Nice little shooter - somewhat different to many of the other shooting games available, in that it requires quick reflexes and a bit of thought at the same time. Fun to play, and you'll come back to try to beat your score.
